On April 27, at 6:30 pm, as the night descended, K.D.F. China Group held a grand Orange Blue Nite Customer Appreciation Dinner at the Radisson Blu Hotel Pudong Century Park in Shanghai. More than 100 VIP customers presented and spent a warm and memorable evening with K.D.F.’s employees.

The appreciation dinner started with an auspicious lion dance, Wilfried Jobst, the Managing Director of K.D.F. Distribution (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., as well as Dr. Ulrich Berlage joined in this dance, they brought so much fun and joy to all guests. After that, both directors addressed the guests and staff respectively. Wilfried Jobst mentioned that the theme for this evening “Orange Blue Nite” is an apt description for K.D.F. global plastics businesses, for orange represents the distribution business, while blue represents the AKRO polyamide business. He also said it is the strong supports from all partners that make K.D.F. achieve tremendous success last year. He offered his heartfelt appreciation to them. Dr. Berlage talked about his 15-year experience in China, from the initial stranger trying to adapt to a new environment to his current familiarity with China, he thanked every person who has helped him as well as K.D.F China along the way.

As a social responsible company, every subsidiary of global K.D.F. Group participates actively in various community charity initiatives. In Hamburg, Germany, most of our corporate profits are donated to foundations to manage nursing homes for the elderly. Here in China, we team up with “Adream Foundation” to build dream classrooms, support teaching and to help cultivate and train teachers who will seed these children’s dreams.
That night, we worked again with Adream Foundation to auction off calligraphic works by students from Lanling Secondary School in order to raise proceeds that would be donated to students to acquire and pay for learning materials. In the ballroom itself, we distributed auction tickets to all the guests, so as to encourage everyone’s participation in this charity event. In the end, the 4 calligraphic works by the students raised a total of 60,000 yuan.
The 2016 Orange Blue Nite Customer Appreciation Dinner came to an end on a high note amidst a heartfelt rendition of “True Hero” by K.D.F.’s sales staff. Thereafter, K.D.F. China shall continue to ride on its philosophy to provide high quality service, and to continuously improve its business knowledge and service levels so as to bring more rewarding customer experiences.
